Property Manager

Job Summary: As a Property Manager for our apartment complex, you will oversee the daily operations of the property, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy rates, managing property budgets, handling tenant relations, and coordinating maintenance efforts. Property will open in October 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Operations: Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, rent collection, and property maintenance.
• Tenant Relations: Address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive living environment.
• Leasing: Market available units, conduct property showings, process rental applications, and execute lease agreements.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage the property budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Handle rent collections and late fees.
• Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and supervise routine maintenance and repair work, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial status for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of property management and leasing procedures.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to property management.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager) are a plus.
