Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to our tenants and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple properties, including tenant relations, maintenance requests, and property inspections.
- Tenant Management: Handle tenant inquiries, lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Address tenant issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee property maintenance and repairs. Coordinate with vendors and ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, handle rent collections, and oversee accounting and financial reporting. Ensure timely payment of bills and expenses.
- Compliance: Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices and legal requirements.
- Marketing & Leasing: Market vacant properties, conduct property showings, and screen potential tenants. Assist with lease negotiations and renewals.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in property management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager (CPM), Residential Management Professional (RMP)) a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with property management regulations and local housing laws.
